Boater Safety and Operation Orientation - $99 (By appointment)
Basic Navigation Course $175. Orientation to chart reading and systems including anchoring followed by a 5 hour cruise through Boston Harbor using land and sea based aids to navigate safely. Schedule: Thursdays 9:30-3:30, or Saturdays 9-3, or some Sundays 9-3 or 1-6.
Night Time Navigation Course $182. After an orientation to the boat and the lighting rules at night there is an hour of docking practice. At 7:30 the class gets underway to show and use the extensive system of nighttime aids to navigation in Boston Harbor. Schedule: Friday night 5 pm to midnight.

Welcome to Boston Harbor Boat Rentals, since 1998 we have been providing high quality boats and excellent service to Boston as well as the North Shore all the way to Camden Maine. We offer you two choices of pick up location's; with offices in both Boston at India Wharf Marina, and at the Newburyport boat launch. We have six types boats for you to choose from, many of our boats are new, and all are easy to run. Our "rental area" include the Charles and Mystic Rivers and encompasses 34 Islands in the Harbor. Within this area there are many uninhabited and inhabited islands to visit. The lighthouses are also great places to see; You can enjoy superior snorkeling, scuba diving, island hopping, shelling, picnicking. By renting a boat from us, you can count on a fun time in exploring the Mystic and Charles rivers and Boston Harbor. The Islands of Boston Harbor offer the visitor a great view of the city and as a National Park are "Living History" with so many places to see!We hope you will enjoy our web site and we look forward to assisting you with a wonderful holiday in the Harbor!

Spend the day on the Charles River! Why not take out the 12' or 17' Logic center console for a leisurely cruise and tour of the Charles river. Because the boats are small and easily managed, beaching the boat is no problem! Just tie off to a tree and/or set the anchor and explore the waterfront as well as the river itself. As you can see from the description on the links page, there is so much to see and do it's hard to do it all in one day. Pack a lunch and head off into adventure! The calm waters and incredible scenery will enchant you and create memories that will last a lifetime.
